XRP has slipped from roughly $1.50 at the start of October to around $1.34 despite the Nasdaq debut of a large XRP treasury company and the arrival of Batch transactions on the ledger. Those October events may shape how investors view the token in November, but they have yet to reverse the decline. A return to $1.55 would require buyers to step in after the announcements, while continued weakness could put $1.15 into view.
Summary
- XRP traded near $1.34 on October 21, down from approximately $1.49 on October 1.
- Evernorth reported around 473 million XRP when its merger closed ahead of an October 12 Nasdaq debut.
- XRP Ledger BatchV1_1 activated October 9 and supports up to eight inner transactions per batch.
- From $1.34, $1.55 is about 15.7% higher, while a $1.15 adverse case is roughly 14.2% lower.
- Ripple’s Swell conference runs October 27 to 29, before November trading begins.
XRP has traded near $1.34 on October 21, after an October 20 close of $1.33 in CoinGecko’s historical table. The $1.34 reference is rounded from a live market reading and will change. The price had been around $1.49 at the start of October, leaving the November case to explain why developments often described as constructive have not yet returned XRP to that area.
Evernorth’s merger put a company holding hundreds of millions of XRP on Nasdaq. Separately, the XRP Ledger Batch specification now allows users to package as many as eight transactions into one operation. Both developments are real, but XRPN shares can change hands without the company buying another token, and an improved ledger feature needs users before it produces sustained activity. November’s price case rests on what follows those launches.

XRP starts below its early October range
XRP was near $1.49 on October 1 as Ripple unlocked 1 billion tokens from escrow, according to reporting at the time. A drop from $1.49 to $1.34 amounts to $0.15, or about 10.1% of the earlier reference. The decline persisted through events that drew attention to the network and to corporate ownership of the token, so the bullish case has to account for the actual price path rather than list catalysts that were already public.
XRP’s mid-October break below $1.43 took it under the 50-day moving average cited by crypto.news, and the rebound was already struggling near $1.39. The average changes with each close, but the price sequence gives a useful sense of the work ahead. XRP would first have to regain $1.40, then return to its early-October area near $1.49 before the $1.55 scenario becomes a convincing extension.
The adverse $1.15 case lies $0.19 below $1.34. Dividing $0.19 by $1.34 gives about 14.2%. The constructive $1.55 level is $0.21 higher, or roughly 15.7%. These percentages are original arithmetic from a common dated starting point. They are not model probabilities or price targets endorsed by Ripple, Evernorth or any fund issuer.

An October 20 close of $1.33 and a live October 21 price around $1.34 should not be interchanged casually. One is a completed daily observation; the other can change while the story is edited. The scenario levels are rounded to avoid false precision. If XRP begins November at a different price, its required percentage move to either case will change.
The token’s market capitalization was around $84.8 billion in CoinGecko’s October 21 reading, with roughly 63 billion XRP counted as circulating. Multiplying the $0.21 move to $1.55 by that circulating count would change a simple quoted market value by more than $13 billion. That is not the cash that would have to be invested. A market capitalization marks the supply at the marginal price; completed purchases and sales occur across a smaller volume at changing prices.
Evernorth’s treasury is a stock of coins
Evernorth closed its merger with approximately 473 million XRP and roughly $300 million in gross cash proceeds ahead of its planned October 12 Nasdaq debut as XRPN. Its holdings combined contributed tokens with coins bought earlier, according to the merger completion account, while the SEC registration filing had projected at least 473,276,430 XRP at closing. The balance gives the company considerable exposure to the token. It does not mean Evernorth buys the same amount again when investors trade its shares.
At the October 21 reference of $1.34, Evernorth’s 473 million XRP would have a quoted value near $634 million, multiplying the coin balance by the current market price. The figure does not tell readers what the company paid for its holdings or what XRPN shares are worth after accounting for cash, liabilities and the share count. Investors may value the operating strategy and future financing differently from the token reserve, allowing the stock to trade above or below a simple estimate of its XRP backing.
Evernorth appointed Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo to support strategies involving the treasury, with initial deployment planned for the fourth quarter. Custody, brokerage, liquidity and use of the coins are separate functions. Announcing service providers does not establish that another 473 million XRP will be bought in November. Subsequent filings would need to show additions, sales or income from an operating strategy.
The 473 million holding is approximately 0.75% of a 63 billion circulating-supply reference. Divide 473 million by 63 billion and multiply by 100. Such a ratio indicates scale in the circulating market, but not the fraction of exchange order books removed during October. Some tokens were contributed, and the timing of historical purchases differs from the closing and listing dates. The November bull case should use new reported transactions, not repeatedly count the same balance as new demand.
Stock-market access can affect sentiment indirectly. Investors who cannot or do not want to hold XRP can buy shares in a company exposed to the token. Money entering XRPN shares in the secondary market, however, generally changes the ownership of existing shares rather than sending its full value to purchase XRP. New corporate financing could create a later buying capacity, but its terms and actual token acquisitions would have to be disclosed. The asset held by a treasury and the trading of its equity should not be added as if both were spot-token inflows.
The bearish counterpoint is clear as well. A concentrated corporate treasury can face mark-to-market volatility, and shareholders can pressure management to change how it handles the balance. There is no evidence in the cited closing announcement that the company plans to liquidate the entire position in November. A stress scenario can acknowledge the possibility of changing corporate policy without claiming a sale that has not occurred.
Batch works, but usage has to follow
The XRP Ledger’s BatchV1_1 and fixBatchV1_2 amendments activated on October 9, according to an XRPL vulnerability disclosure. The corrected version followed security-sensitive problems with earlier Batch code. That history matters because the mainnet feature should be identified by the amendment actually enabled, not the abandoned original design.
Up to eight inner transactions can be packaged in one Batch operation. The mainnet activation gives developers ways to execute linked actions under the documented modes, including all-or-nothing execution. It can reduce the risk that one leg of a designed operation completes while another fails. The feature does not automatically multiply ledger activity by eight or make every transaction a token purchase.
Once applications begin using Batch, the relevant record will show how many batches they submit, what the inner transactions do and whether the activity carries meaningful value. Raw transaction totals may rise as apps experiment or fall because several actions now travel together. Neither movement alone would show whether users committed more capital or needed to hold more XRP for fees and reserves.
Each XRPL transaction uses XRP for a fee, but a very small fee does not create an automatic price response proportional to transaction count. Holding XRP for reserves and settlement is another possible channel, depending on app design and adoption. A developer can announce support before clients use the service; a financial institution can test a workflow without buying a meaningful amount of XRP on public markets. These distinctions are necessary when a protocol upgrade becomes the centerpiece of a monthly price story.
Asset managers had been preparing to use Batch while activation still depended on validator support. The corrected feature is now available on mainnet, though that tells us little about how many firms have put it into production or the value moving through their applications. Dated ledger activity and named product launches would show how far the plans have progressed.
The security disclosure is a reason for precision, not a prediction of failure. The project identified the validation issue, released xrpld 3.4.1 and recorded the corrected amendments’ activation. Operators that had not upgraded faced a network continuity problem under the protocol’s amendment process. No claim of an October Batch exploit or November loss follows from the disclosure itself.
Ripple activity and XRP demand are separate
Ripple’s Swell conference is scheduled for October 27 to 29 in New York, according to the official event program. Its agenda covers payments, stablecoins, tokenization and XRP utility. A product announcement at the conference could alter the November information set, but the program alone does not identify a new customer using XRP or a value of completed XRP purchases. Any forecast made before the event has to leave room for no token-specific announcement at all.
Ripple Prime provides a good example of the distinction. Brevan Howard funds’ use of Ripple Prime relates to brokerage, clearing and financing services. The customer relationship may grow Ripple’s business without requiring those funds to hold XRP for every transaction. A price article should look for contract terms or transaction records connecting the activity to token demand before assigning a dollar value to the effect.
Escrow releases are equally easy to overstate. Ripple’s October 1 release involved 1 billion XRP, but an unlock is not necessarily a sale of the entire amount into the spot market that day. Some tokens can be relocked or moved under company policy. November’s next scheduled cycle should be checked against wallet movements and Ripple’s disclosures before describing a circulating-supply change or sell pressure. A large gross release and a net amount entering liquid trading are different figures.
ETF products provide a third channel. A spot XRP fund can hold tokens for shareholders, but its assets under management rise or fall with price even without new subscriptions. The relevant figure for fresh investment is net creation across the products on dated trading days. SoSoValue’s XRP ETF dashboard displayed roughly $1.47 billion in total assets as of its October 16 reading. That stock measure should not be described as $1.47 billion newly invested in October or as guaranteed demand in November.
One billion XRP has a quoted value of about $1.34 billion at the October 21 price, a figure that can make a monthly escrow release sound like an equally large sale. The amount reaching liquid markets depends on what Ripple does after the unlock. Returning part of the release to escrow, for example, would leave a smaller net amount outside the locked balances; the illustration does not assert that Ripple returned any particular fraction in October. Wallet movements and company disclosures, rather than the gross headline, determine what can be said about November’s supply.
Exchange balances can help answer a narrower question, though a transfer to an exchange address is not itself a sale. Coins may be moved for custody, market making or collateral. Likewise, a withdrawal from an exchange does not identify a permanent holder. A November supply report should trace the relevant wallet transfers and compare them with the company’s escrow disclosures, avoiding a direct leap from an on-ledger transaction to a claim about executed spot volume.
The ETF dashboard needs a similar date check. Assets recorded on October 16 reflect both the fund shares then outstanding and the market price of the XRP backing them. If XRP fell 10% afterward while the held token count stayed constant, the assets figure would mechanically decline by roughly 10% before fees and other changes. Net flow is designed to describe subscriptions and redemptions apart from that revaluation. A large asset figure is evidence of exposure held, while a series of positive net flows would be evidence of new demand during November.

Swell publicity could bring attention to all three channels at once, but announcements have different levels of financial specificity. A named financial institution testing XRPL, a signed production agreement with published terms and a reported purchase of XRP are not interchangeable milestones. The first may show technical interest; the last is a completed token transaction. The price case would be stronger if disclosures stated what activity requires XRP, when it begins and whether a partner must acquire coins rather than use balances it already controls.
If November brings positive ETF flows, disclosed treasury acquisitions and actual Batch use, the three signals can support a stronger demand case. Their units still differ. Fund net flow is dollars per day, a treasury disclosure is coins owned on a reporting date, and Batch usage is operations on a ledger. Adding the figures together into one invented institutional buying total would destroy the information each provides.
The $1.55 upside case needs fresh purchases
XRP reaching $1.55 would first have to recover its early-October $1.49 area. A sustained move through $1.40 and the recent $1.43 reference would suggest the October slide has slowed, but a single session above them would not settle the month. The $1.55 marker stands near the zone traders watched at the start of October. It is a scenario price, not a promise that the same resistance will be tested on a fixed November date.
The most credible path combines broader risk appetite after the October 28 Fed decision with token-specific evidence. Actual net inflows into spot XRP funds would document buying through one channel. An Evernorth update reporting additional purchases would document another. Named applications using Batch in production could show whether the new functionality has moved beyond availability. None of the three alone guarantees a 15.7% price gain.
The September and October price history puts a limit on an easy conference narrative. Traders already know Swell’s dates, Evernorth’s listing and Batch’s activation. An announcement needs new substance to change the information priced into XRP. A speech reiterating existing plans would not be equivalent to a customer contract or an on-ledger settlement that can be measured.
XRP could rise without those specific catalysts if the entire crypto market rallies. In that event, a relative comparison against Bitcoin and other large assets would help determine whether XRP is outperforming for token-specific reasons. A percentage gain from a broad market move is still real, but attributing it automatically to Batch would confuse timing with causation.
The upside thesis weakens if XRP repeatedly fails around $1.40 to $1.43, fund flows are negative and no new treasury acquisition appears. Conversely, regaining $1.49 with sustained spot volume and subscriptions would make the return to $1.55 less demanding. The conditions are stated before November so they can be checked rather than revised after each daily candle.
The $1.15 downside case has ordinary triggers
The adverse case begins with XRP losing the $1.28 area discussed in the mid-October chart analysis, then failing to recover as the broader market weakens. Higher rate expectations, a stronger dollar or renewed ETF withdrawals could contribute. The $1.15 marker is a round stress level beyond that sequence, not a claim about a verified order-book wall. From $1.34, it requires a decline near 14.2%.
A disappointing development does not have to be a network outage. Investors could simply decide that corporate treasury holdings and ledger upgrades were already reflected in the token price. If actual ETF and app demand remains limited, the market could reprioritize liquidity and macro risk. This explains how an operationally successful Batch launch can coexist with a weak November price without treating the technology as failed.
Evernorth’s XRP position gives it exposure to the same decline. At $1.15, 473 million tokens would carry a simple quoted value around $544 million, versus approximately $634 million at $1.34. The arithmetic difference is close to $90 million, excluding changes in the token count. That is an illustrative mark-to-market comparison, not an asserted accounting loss for the company or a prediction of its share price. Cash, liabilities and reporting conventions belong in the equity valuation.
The adverse case would weaken if XRP holds above $1.28, funds record sustained creations and the market recovers the early-October range. A brief bounce on conference speculation cannot by itself invalidate the scenario; persistent price acceptance and completed buying are the more demanding evidence. Stronger ledger use with negligible fees could improve network utility without moving the price enough to disprove it.
Either price path can be disrupted by a change outside the known calendar. A major security problem, a new legal action, a market-wide liquidation or an unexpected policy decision would change the assumptions. None is asserted to be imminent. The forecast frames measurable ordinary developments rather than inventing a surprise to justify a dramatic target.
November’s evidence will arrive on different clocks
Swell ends October 29, before November’s first full trading week. The Fed decides October 28. A token move during those days will set a new starting point for November. It would be misleading to hold on to the October 21 percentage distances if the price has moved sharply by October 31; the levels can remain reference scenarios, but their implied gains and losses need recalculation from the later price.
XRP Ledger activity is continuous, while U.S. ETFs report on trading days and corporate treasury holdings appear in periodic releases. One day cannot align the clocks perfectly. An on-ledger Batch operation on a weekend may have no corresponding ETF flow print until Monday, and a corporate press release can describe purchases made in earlier weeks. Dates and measures need to travel with each claim.
The next Ripple escrow cycle belongs in that schedule too. The quantity unlocked is an administrative movement, while the part available to the market depends on later wallet handling and company disclosure. Looking only at a headline billion-token number would repeat an October talking point without measuring November’s supply.
As of October 21, the checked facts are a live XRP quote near $1.34, an October 20 close of $1.33, Evernorth’s approximately 473 million XRP at closing and BatchV1_1 enabled since October 9. November reporting can update each on its own terms. A later price chart cannot by itself prove which of those facts caused the next move.
What to watch
- October 28 and 29: Compare the Fed decision and any substantive Swell announcement with prior market expectations.
- Price levels: Sustained trade over $1.43 and then $1.49 strengthens the path toward $1.55; loss of $1.28 weakens it.
- XRP fund creations: Check daily net flows rather than treating total fund assets as new investment.
- Evernorth disclosures: Separate the 473 million XRP balance at closing from subsequent purchases or sales.
- Batch adoption: Look for dated mainnet usage and named applications, not merely confirmation that the amendment is active.
FAQ
What is the XRP price prediction for November 2026?
The conditional upside case is around $1.55 if XRP regains its early-October range with fresh fund and spot demand. The adverse $1.15 case assumes a break below nearer support and weak risk appetite. Neither is a guaranteed closing price.
How much would XRP have to gain to reach $1.55?
From the rounded October 21 quote near $1.34, the move is $0.21, or about 15.7%.
Is Evernorth buying 473 million XRP in November?
No such November purchase is established. Evernorth reported around 473 million XRP at its merger closing, including contributed and previously purchased tokens. New buying requires a later disclosure.
When did XRPL Batch go live?
BatchV1_1 and its associated fix activated on October 9, 2026, according to XRPL’s vulnerability disclosure. The corrected feature can package up to eight inner transactions.
Does every Batch transaction lift XRP price?
No. Ledger usage and token demand are related only through specific fee, reserve, settlement or holding mechanisms. A larger transaction count alone does not establish net spot buying.
Is Ripple’s monthly 1 billion XRP unlock a sale?
An escrow release changes the status of tokens. It does not establish that the entire amount was sold on an exchange; later transfers and any relocking require separate verification.
Does XRPN’s share price equal the value of XRP it holds?
No. The company’s shares reflect its capital structure, other assets and liabilities, management and market expectations. A simple coin count multiplied by XRP’s price is only one part of the analysis.
What would weaken the $1.15 downside case?
Sustained trade above the recent $1.43 area, a recovery of $1.49 and confirmed new demand through fund creations or corporate purchases would undermine the sequence of weakness behind that scenario. This is educational analysis, not investment advice.
