Air Connectivity Program Concludes Participation in Routes World 2026 in Frankfurt with Over 65 Meetings
The Air Connectivity Program (ACP) concluded its participation in Routes World 2026, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from October 21 to 23, with a delegation led by ACP CEO Ahmed Al-Brahim and several program officials.
During the event, the delegation held more than 65 meetings with airlines and international partners to explore opportunities to develop new air routes to Saudi Arabia and expand partnerships that facilitate tourist access from targeted international markets.
The program also held meetings with Red Sea International Airport to discuss opportunities to enhance air connectivity to the destination. ACP aims to attract new airlines and launch additional routes connecting the Red Sea destination to international markets in 2027, supporting the growth of inbound tourism.
Routes World is one of the leading international gatherings dedicated to air route development, bringing together representatives of airlines, airports, and tourism organizations from around the world to explore cooperation opportunities and develop air routes.
The program's participation is part of its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with international airlines and expand Saudi Arabia's international air connectivity network, contributing to the objectives of the National Tourism Strategy and reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a global tourism destination under Saudi Vision 2030.
