Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A38 may retain the same camera setup as its predecessor, according to a new leak. The phone is expected to feature four cameras, with resolutions matching those on the Galaxy A37.
The latest information comes from the same source that recently shared details about the Galaxy A58. That model is also expected to use the same camera resolutions as the Galaxy A57. Both phones are reportedly scheduled to arrive next year.
According to the leak, the Galaxy A38 will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, the phone is expected to include a 12MP selfie camera.
These specifications match the Samsung Galaxy A37, which launched earlier this year. However, the sensor sizes and generations remain unknown. Therefore, Samsung could still introduce camera improvements without changing the resolution.
If the camera hardware remains unchanged, the Galaxy A38 could receive upgrades in other areas. These may include a faster processor or a larger battery, although neither improvement has been confirmed.
The Galaxy A37 comes wi th Samsung’s Exynos 1480 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery. It also supports 45W charging and features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Samsung has yet to confirm the Galaxy A38’s specifications or launch date. The phone is expected to arrive next March or April, so more details may emerge in the coming months.
