In a press statement issued on October 11, 2026, by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said it had received information and complaints regarding recent personnel changes in some strategic departments.
The party said it had been informed that officers serving in departments such as Electoral Operations and ICT in some northern states were moved to other departments and replaced with officers from Lagos and other South-West states.
The ADC said that, while it was not making conclusive accusations against the commission, any allegation that could affect public trust in the electoral body should be addressed.
The party said questions about regional concentration in sensitive departments should not be treated as routine administrative matters.
The ADC urged the INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, to publish details of the postings, including the selection criteria and reasons for the changes, to reassure citizens of fairness and impartiality.
It said that allowing such allegations to go without an evidence-based response could have implications for confidence in the electoral process.
