The sector index has now stayed above 50 for five straight quarters.
The transport and logistics sector maintained a healthy pace of growth with a rise in reading to 51.8 in the third quarter (Q3) from 51.5 in Q2, according to OCBC’s SME Index report.
The index continued to grow from readings of 51.2 in Q1, 50.2 in Q4 2025, 49.9 in Q3 2025, and 49.8 in Q2 2025.
Overall collections and payments grew by 18.8% and 20.4%, respectively, on a year-on-year basis.
Growth in the sector was supported by expansions in logistics (52.0) and sea transport (51.7).
Firm external trade activity could have provided a supportive backdrop for small and medium enterprises in these segments, amidst strong growth in Singapore’s exports, the report said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW
Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.
Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.
We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.
If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
