Chet Holmgren will play when the OKC Thunder begins its 2026-27 NBA season with a road game against the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 p.m. CT Tuesday.
Holmgren missed all five of OKC's preseason games due in part to a quad contusion. But those were only precautionary measures for the All-NBA and All-Defensive forward, who'll suit up in what marks a rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals. San Antonio won that series in seven games.
