In a major step toward consolidating grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is set to officially inaugurate the national headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Friday.
The flagship ceremony, scheduled for 3pm, will gather top political stakeholders, movement leaders, state coordinators, and supporters at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The new operational hub will serve as the strategic engine room for directing the group’s nationwide canvassing and community mobilization campaigns.
Convened by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (popularly known as Tompolo), who serves as its Grand Patron, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is aimed at taking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda directly into homes, markets, workplaces, and places of worship across Nigeria.
Speaking on the upcoming launch, the National Coordinator of the movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, emphasized that the new headquarters will sharpen the movement’s operational structure as it enters a pivotal phase of canvassing.
“The inauguration of the Abuja office reinforces our resolve to build an uncompromising grassroots network. Rather than relying solely on conventional rallies and large public gatherings, our members and ward ambassadors will engage citizens directly—one household at a time,” he said.
According to the leadership, direct household engagement will enable citizens to better understand the policies, structural reforms, and infrastructural achievements of the Tinubu administration—spanning education, healthcare, and economic initiatives—while providing a feedback loop for residents to air local concerns.
The statement noted that the Movement has established working structures across all geopolitical zones, deploying over 300 branded campaign vehicles along with public-address systems to mobilize voters at the polling unit level.
