EU companies employ more than 300,000 people in Serbia, while over 60 percent of Serbian exports are destined for the EU market, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce quoted Brnabic as saying.
Speaking about the “Tracks to the Future” initiative, whose international representatives participated in a joint panel discussion in Belgrade on Wednesday, Brnabic highlighted that Germany remains Serbia’s most important partner in goods trade, the United States leads in services trade, while Chinese companies rank among Serbia’s top exporters.
“Serbia is strongly committed to serving as a reliable partner that bridges markets, economies, and business communities. Despite widening global divisions, we continue to build ties and bridges because we firmly believe that cooperation and economic integration enhance the resilience and strength of our economy,” Brnabic said.
Brnabic is a member of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
