The United States Mission in Nigeria has partnered with talent and marketing communications agency PenzaarVille Africa to train more than 100 emerging digital creators on building influential brands and monetising content on US-based digital platforms.
The virtual workshop, themed “From Content to Influence: Building a Creator Brand on U.S.

Platforms,” brought together early-career creators and emerging influencers to explore ways of growing their audiences and turning digital content into sustainable businesses.
Speakers included US Government exchange alumna Miss Techy, alongside digital creators Layi Wasabi and Ariyiikedimples, who shared insights from their experiences creating engaging content and building audiences across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube and X.
Speaking at the event, Public Affairs Officer Julie McKay and Mission Spokesperson Nicole Holler highlighted the opportunities offered by US digital platforms for Nigerian content creators.
They noted that these platforms could help creators monetise their creativity, build sustainable businesses, reach international audiences and transform digital influence into economic opportunities.
The initiative underscores the growing role of the digital economy in creating opportunities for young Nigerians through content creation, audience engagement and online entrepreneurship.
