The Sixers are getting ready for a highly-anticipated home opener on Thursday night as they'll welcome the Cavs to Philly.
Philadelphia has a new look this year, with veteran additions LeBron James and Jaylen Brown improving an already solid offense. The Sixers debuted with a bang on Tuesday, spoiling the Knicks' banner-raising night with a 106-100 victory at Madison Square Garden. All eyes will be on Xfinity Mobile Arena for this home opener.
As for Cleveland, a road win in Philly could set the tone for the entire season. While the Cavs didn't add huge names to the roster, they were still quite active in the offseason. The franchise's 2026 draft pick Meleek Thomas has already added value, as well as Mario Hezonja and Peyton Watson.
