ⓘ Wyze
Wyze has followed up the Scale Ultra BodyScan with a new plus model that brings a few changes for a bit more money. The $150 Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus has its display on the handle, can track several more health metrics, and gets a bump in battery life.
Wyze has announced a new smart scale, and it sits at the top of its smart scale line. The new Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus arrives as a more advanced version of the Scale Ultra BodyScan that was released in November 2025. However, a comparison of both models show there aren't enough differences to make it worth upgrading.
The Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus shares most of its features with the Wyze Scale BodyScan, save for a few. The first difference is that the new plus model has a 4.3-inch TFT color display on the handle, whereas the 4.3-inch color display of the standard Scale Ultra BodyScan is on the scale itself.
Also, the Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus can track over 50 health metrics, compared to the 13 health metrics of the standard model. The spec sheet also reveals the new model has a battery life of 9 months, 1 month longer than that of the Scale Ultra BodyScan. Save for the aforementioned differences, the rest of the specs are the same.
The Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus has ITO electrode coated glass, so you can step on any part for an accurate reading. The customizable color display eliminates the need for an app, but there's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support so you can sync your data to your phone. There's also data syncing with apps such as Apple Health, Google Health, and Health Connect.
The Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus has a pregnancy mode, baby mode, an athlete mode, pet mode, and luggage mode. It also has automatic recognition and data syncing for up to 8 users and one-time measurement for an unlimited number of guests. The supported weight range is between 11 and 400 lbs (4.9 to 181 kg). Like its predecessor, it is powered by 4 AAA batteries.
Available in Black and White colors, the Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus is available to buy now on the manufacturer's website and on Amazon for $149.99. For comparison, the standard model released last year sells for $119.98.
