The Kenya U23 international shared a group selfie taken inside what appears to be a church or cathedral in Vigo, where he was celebrating the occasion with family and close friends.
How did Kibet celebrate his mother's birthday?
"Celebrating my mum's birthday in Vigo! I dedicate this weekend's goal to the most special woman in my life. Happy birthday, Mum! Your love, prayers and sacrifices mean everything to me. This goal is for you," Kibet wrote on Facebook.
