The injuries come at a difficult time for Los Angeles, which needs its top players available as it looks to turn its season around. McDuffie is a key piece of the secondary, while Nacua remains one of the team’s most important offensive weapons. Losing either player would create a major challenge, particularly if both are unable to suit up against Las Vegas.
McDuffie’s continued absence is especially concerning as the Rams prepare for the Raiders. His availability could have a major impact on the team’s defensive game plan, while Nacua’s calf issue raises questions about the condition of an offense that needs its playmakers on the field.
Las Vegas is also dealing with injury concerns heading into the matchup. The Raiders have lost three consecutive games and are managing a longer injury report than Los Angeles. Wide receiver Mike Washington Jr. and linebacker Quay Walker were among the players listed as limited or not practicing, adding to the team’s preparation challenges.
While several Raiders players have been able to participate in practice, their final injury designations will be important to monitor as game day approaches.
Both teams need a positive result, but the Rams’ situation will depend in part on whether McDuffie and Nacua can return to full participation. Their status remains uncertain, and Los Angeles will be hoping the latest injuries do not leave it shorthanded against a Raiders team looking to snap its losing streak.
