A VIRAL clip circling social media showing a white sedan colliding with several vehicles along Old Klang Road has circulated on social media following an incident on Tuesday (Oct 13).
The incident reportedly occurred opposite Makan Street in Mega Mendung, with footage shared on Instagram by Ryko Lim.
According to the user, a loud impact was heard before they noticed damage to the rear of a parked grey vehicle.
Shortly afterwards, the white sedan reportedly struck several other vehicles parked along the roadside, including a lorry and a delivery van.
The collisions attracted the attention of nearby bystanders and workers, who came out to see what had happened.
The footage also showed a visibly distressed man in a white shirt approaching the driver. The Instagram user claimed that a member of the man’s family had been nearby when the collisions occurred.
According to the account, the driver said his vehicle had suffered a sudden mechanical failure and that he was attempting to take it to a nearby workshop for repairs.
However, the alleged mechanical failure has not been independently verified.
The Instagram user also urged the public not to jump to conclusions or shame those involved before the circumstances surrounding the incident had been established.
