Randall reached the Class 4A final after defeating Lindale 10-3 in the state semifinals on Wednesday.
The Raiders defeated Shallowater, Clint, Lubbock-Cooper Liberty and Vernon to reach the Region I championship, where the Raiders met Canyon. With a trip to San Antonio on the line, head coach Darby Norman's team defeated the Eagles 10-8 to secure a spot in the state tournament.
Canyon reached the state final in 2025, but fell 10-5 at the hands of Wimberley. Randall won the Class 4A state title in 2024 when Norman's group defeated Wills Point 10-4.
Randall also reached the state semifinals in 2023, but fell to Wimberley 10-8. In 2022, Randall took home the state title with a 10-8 win against Boerne two years after another Texas Panhandle team, Hereford, won the state championship in 2020, also beating Boerne 10-8.
Team tennis is the UIL's fall tennis season and features 19 matches that include singles, doubles and mixed doubles, with the first team to win 10 matches earning the overall victory.
