Canadian brand creates a skin-care spray for people and pets

Sometimes, simple really is best. It’s an ethos the Canadian brand E11ement is built upon.

The skin-care brand offers “all-in-one, everyday essential” multi-purpose sprays, according to brand founder Nick Singh, that can be used on people and pets. And they’re made using two ingredients: water and salt.

We caught up with founder Singh to learn more:

A: E11ement is a hypochlorous acid skin-care brand I started in Toronto in 2021. We create a gentle, minimal-ingredient formula using just two ingredients, water and salt. This gets converted into hypochlorous acid, a compound our own white blood cells naturally produce to fight bacteria and support healing.

Essentially, at E11ement we’re taking something the body already recognizes and putting the formula into an easy-to-use mist that works on the face and body for all ages to support skin-barrier and leave skin feeling clean, refreshed and hydrated.

Because this molecule is so universal, we recently launched a new line, E11ement Pet Spray this August. E11ement was always created with the vision of being used by every human, and animal, on the planet, and E11ement Pet felt like a natural next step and is a product line pet owners can trust to support their animal’s skin and coat health the same way our core spray does for people.

A: The simplicity and quality of our formula. Most facial mists are loaded with alcohol, fragrance or other ingredients that can be irritating, drying or filled with ingredients that disrupt the skin barrier.
