The Minnesota Timberwolves continuedtheir unbeaten start to the season on Friday when they saw off the Orlando Magic.
Fresh off the back of beating the Miami Heat, the Timberwolves secured a 115-93 win over the Magic in their second game of the campaign.
Now, former NFL player Robert Griffin III has taken to X/Twitter to comment on that game and has had high praise for Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball.
Robert Griffin thinks Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball were meant to play together
He stated: “Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball are a match made in heaven on that basketball court. They look like they were meant to play together.”
Edwards managed 15 points and four assists during the clash with the Magic, while LaMelo had 12 points and five assists.
That victory leaves the Timberwolves as one of just six teams in the Western Conference still undefeated this season, with last term’s highflyers, the San Antonio Spurs, already 0-2 in 2026/27.
Minnesota will now be looking to extend their winning start this Sunday when they host the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors are also 2-0 ahead of the tie, having beaten the Washington Wizards 112-102 in their last game and the Chicago Bulls 135-92 in their opener.
