Auburn basketball vs FSU score: Live updates, analysis from Birmingham

The Auburn Tigers are in Birmingham to compete in the Ballin' in Boutwell event on Wednesday against the Florida State Seminoles.

Wednesday's exhibition game between the Tigers and Seminoles features two head coaches in their second season with their respective teams, aiming to take a step forward. Despite winning the NIT, last season was seen as a disappointment for Auburn under first-year head coach Steven Pearl, considering the Tigers appeared in the Final Four the season before. Auburn ended the 2025-26 season unranked with a 22-16 record. Offseason additions Thomas Dowd, Bukky Oboye, Narcisse Ngoy, and Adam Olsen join returning stars Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton in orange and blue this season.

Florida State finished 18-15 last season and missed out on an NCAA Tournament bid after bowing out early in the ACC Tournament with a one-point loss to Duke. FSU alum Luke Loucks leads the Seminoles into Birmingham with 12 new players looking to make a name for themselves this season, starting on Wednesday at Boutwell Auditorium.
