Alex Scott has reportedly been ‘pushing to leave’ Bournemouth, prompting the club to change their stance on his potential departure.
According to the BBC, the Cherries will open the door to a mid-season sale for their midfield starlet if an offer of £100 million arrives.

However, if they are still struggling at the bottom end of the table, they will likely decide to keep hold of him until the summer.
It comes after Scott rejected the last two contract offers Bournemouth have tabled, making it clear his future lies elsewhere.
Now, after holding talks with his representatives, the Dorset outfit, who have yet to win a Premier League game this term and currently sit 18th in the table, got the message that he wants out.
Bournemouth made it abundantly clear over the summer that the 23-year-old was not for sale under any circumstances.
They even rejected two bids, the second of which was in the region of £64m, from Chelsea.

Manchester United were also well among Scott’s suitors when they began their rebuild in the middle of the park, but were eventually made to pursue alternative targets, and signed Andrey Santos, Carlos Baleba and Youri Tielemans instead.
It remains to be seen if INEOS retain their interest heading into 2027, especially given the uproar around their lack of investment over the summer.
However, the midfield is now no longer viewed as high a priority as the defence is, with the full-back department particularly depleted.
United are expected to prioritise the backline at the end of the campaign, though, at this rate, reinforcements will be essential in the winter.
