Colombo, Oct. 18 (Daily Mirror) - A formal investigation will be conducted into the sudden islandwide power failure that occurred yesterday (17), with a report to be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka and the relevant Ministry within a month.
National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd Chairman Pradeep Priyadarshana said the investigation would examine the incident, and the findings would be submitted to the relevant authorities within the stipulated period.
