The National Executive Council of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has passed a vote of confidence in its National Chairman, Yusuf Dantalle.
The Council’s National Publicity Secretary, Egbeola Wale Martins, in a 55th birthday message to Dantalle, yesterday, described the chairman as a dogged and committed leader.
Martins said: “Today, we celebrate not just another year in the life of an exceptional leader, but also a man whose resilience, courage, determination and unwavering commitment to the ideals of democratic governance continue to inspire confidence and hope within Nigeria’s political community.
“You have consistently demonstrated that leadership is not defined by the absence of challenges but by the courage to confront them, the wisdom to navigate them, and the determination to overcome them.
“This doggedness and unwavering commitment are why the Council stands at the threshold of history with the forthcoming premiere of its landmark movie, ‘Unbroken: Two and a Half Decades,’ which chronicles Nigeria’s 25-year political evolution since the commencement of the Fourth Republic.
“Under your leadership, IPAC continues to pursue its mandate of promoting political tolerance, constructive engagement, inter-party dialogue and the deepening of Nigeria’s democratic culture.
“Your steadfastness in the face of adversity and your ability to remain focused on the bigger picture exemplify the qualities of a leader who understands that meaningful progress requires patience, sacrifice and an unyielding spirit.
“The National Executive Council acknowledges your invaluable contributions to the growth and institutional development of IPAC as well as your commitment to fostering unity and cooperation among political parties, irrespective of their ideological differences.
“As you mark this significant milestone at 55, we celebrate your strength of character, humility, perseverance and uncommon capacity to keep moving forward even when circumstances appear difficult.
“Your life and leadership remind us that with courage, vision and determination, seemingly impossible tasks can be transformed into achievable goals.
“On behalf of the National Executive Council and the entire IPAC family, we wish our esteemed National Chairman many more years of sound health, renewed strength, greater accomplishments and divine wisdom as you continue to serve the Council, the political community and our dear nation.”
