A 28-year-old woman from Indiranagar has approached the East Division Cyber Crime police after her private photographs and videos, which she had shared with her male friend on a communication service, allegedly surfaced on pornographic websites.
According to the complaint, the woman had shared her intimate photographs and videos with her male friend, whom she intended to marry, trusting him with her private moments.
However, unidentified miscreants allegedly hacked her account and stole the images and videos before uploading them to pornographic websites.
She subsequently approached the East Division CEN police and lodged a complaint seeking action against those responsible.
In her complaint, she urged the police to identify and arrest the cybercriminals involved in the alleged hacking and circulation of her intimate content.
