Apple has made its Get Ready service available for the iPhone Duo, allowing customers to set up their pre-orders before sales begin on October 16. The service lets buyers choose their preferred model options and payment details in advance.
Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, at its September launch event alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Pre-orders will open this Friday, October 16, at 5AM PT / 8AM ET. Shipping is scheduled to begin on October 23, exactly one week later.
Initial supplies of the iPhone Duo are expected to be limited. Therefore, Apple is giving interested buyers a way to complete most of the ordering process ahead of time.
Through Get Ready, customers can select the phone’s color and storage capacity. They can also choose their carrier status, add accessories, and select an AppleCare+ plan. The service also supports trade-ins, payment details, and shipping and billing addresses.
Once pre-orders open on Friday, customers can review their saved choices and tap the “Pre-order” button to complete the purchase. This could help buyers save time during the initial rush, although it does not guarantee availability. The Get Ready service is available through Apple’s website and the Apple Store app.
