Oregon State wide receiver Jesse Legree is not going anywhere. The freshman sensation held a press conference on Friday and announced that he has re-signed with the Beavers and will return for the 2027 season.
Legree has been the breakout player of the 2026 season, leading the country in receiving yards (1,040), receiving touchdowns (14), and yards per game (148.6). He is the only player in the country to have over 1,000 receiving yards, and his 46 receptions are the 14th most in the country.
He has helped turn Oregon State around in JaMarcus Shephard's first season leading the program, with the Beavers sitting atop the Pac-12 rankings. They are on a five-game winning streak and are now 5-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Legree came to Oregon State as a three-star recruit out of Baltimore, Maryland. He was ranked as the No. 1713 overall player and No. 118 athlete in the 247Sports composite. He went back home to announce the news, holding the press conference at St. Frances Academy, where he played wide receiver and defensive back.
Oregon State is currently on a bye and will return to action next week when they hit the road to play the Fresno State Bulldogs on Halloween. The game will start at 10 p.m. CT and will air on the USA Network.
