Dominik Tarczyński, a top European Parliament Member (EPM), told English broadcaster Piers Morgan that he would 'ban all Muslims' from entering Poland if he is elected to power. In an interview, Dominik Tarczyński said that Europe should not allow new mosques while Qatar severely restricts Christian worship: “As long as Christians cannot build churches and cathedrals in Qatar, there should not be any mosques in Europe. Simple as that." When Morgan called him a “bigot,” Tarczyński replied, “It’s better to be a bigot than a sellout to Qataris and Jihadists.” He enjoys a relatively high profile internationally due to his vocal opposition to Muslim immigration to Europe.
'Islam not compatible with Western values'
Asked if he would not allow any Muslim immigrants into France, Dominik Tarczyński replied, "No, of course not. Islam is not compatible with the Western values. I don't care about any other country. I don't want them in Poland. They are not capable with who we are."
When Piers Morgan asked if he would allow them in France, he said, "France has fallen, it's done and it's too late." He echoed similar sentiments for England. When Piers pointed out that Dominik Tarczyński is an immigrant himself, he said sarstically replied, "I paid my taxes and did not burn any church." (sic)
He also recalled the incident when he was barred from entering the UK, where he had planned to attend and speak at a rally in London organised by far-right activist Tommy Robinson. The incident happened in May this year. Dominik Tarczyński shared a screenshot of a message from the British Home Office informing him that his Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), which allows entry to the UK without a visa, had been cancelled.
Dominik Tarczyński has ties to Trump
In a 2018 interview with Channel 4 News in the UK, Tarczyński declared his pride that Poland was taking in “zero illegal Muslim migrants”. Tarczyński has ties to Donald Trump’s MAGA movement as well as to Robinson (whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon), the most prominent far-right, anti-Muslim activist in the UK.
Last year, Tarczyński marched alongside Robinson at his Unite the Kingdom rally, which drew more than 100,000 people to London. The Polish politician also gave a speech from the main stage at the event, leading the crowd in a chant of “Send them [migrants] back”.
“We have to be very radical,” declared Tarczyński. “Zero means zero. Enough is enough…Protect your family, protect your children, fight for your country.”
“We are taking our Christian Europe back. We are taking this continent, because this is our home,” he continued. “I love Europe. I love my culture. I love my identity. I love this crowd. I love being European.”
