Several reporters drew the short straw as they braved the high winds and torrential rain to deliver the Storm Austen latest.
GB News South of England Reporter Isobel Feculak was nearly blown away by the wind as she attempted to raise an umbrella above her head.
She appears on camera with her jacket and trousers drenched by the rain and her hand firmly placed on her head to prevent her hood from being displaced by the gusts.
The reporter can be seen squinting throughout the video as she powers through the report.
She said: 'The RNLI are warning people to stay well away from sea, because a big wave could quite easily come, crash down, knock them over, and drag them out to sea.
'The fire service are telling people to bring in any loose outdoor furniture in case it flies away and hits anyone.'
Towards the end of her report she attempts to demonstrate to viewers how windy it is by raising an umbrella above her head, but the umbrella instantly inverted and nearly took her away with it.
Ms Feculak said: 'I could quite literally blow away. This is my Mary Poppins moment.'
