KUALA LUMPUR: A recent meeting between the families of actress and entrepreneur Nur Fazura Sharifuddin and actor Que Haidar has sparked lively speculation online.
The rumour mill started spinning after Que posted a photo on TikTok showing both families gathered together, including Fazura and her daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
The post quickly caught the attention of fans and netizens, leading many to wonder if there was more to their relationship.
But Fazura has put the speculation to rest, clarifying that the gathering was simply a friendly get-together to strengthen family ties.
She explained that the meeting was nothing out of the ordinary, given their long-standing friendship.
"As friends, what is wrong with meeting each other's families?
"We were simply strengthening the ties between my family and Que's family," she told Harian Metro.
Fazura added that similar catch-ups happen all the time among friends without any hidden meaning behind them.
"For all we know, behind the scenes, many of us might be meeting up with each other's families.
"Besides, as Muslims, what could possibly be wrong with maintaining and strengthening bonds between families?" she remarked.
