On October 8, news broke that the production company Julius Production AB had filed for bankruptcy. It is a subsidiary of Julius Fritid & Nöjen, which also runs the Nöjesteatern in Malmö, where “Spamalot” premiered on September 25.
This weekend’s performances were cancelled, but it was unclear what would happen to the remaining performances. It is now clear that there will be no more chances to see the production, which features Anders "Ankan" Johansson, Samuel Fröler and Morgan Alling, among others.
It is unclear whether those who bought tickets will get their money back, P4 Malmöhus reports.
