Pakistan delivered an impressive performance on the second day of the Billie Jean King Cup Asia/Oceania Group III (B) 2026, defeating Bhutan 3-0 here at the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex here Thursday.
Pakistan’s players displayed confidence, determination and teamwork across the singles and doubles matches to secure a comprehensive victory and strengthen their campaign in the international team competition. In the singles matches, experienced campaigners Ushna Suhail and Mahin Aftab Qureshi played very well, demonstrating their skills, composure and fighting spirit to put Pakistan in a strong position by winning both the singles.
The doubles match brought a particularly encouraging moment for Pakistan tennis, as young players Romaisa Malik and Hajra Sohail represented Pakistan in the Billie Jean King Cup for the first time. Despite being newcomers to the prestigious international team event, the young pair played with remarkable confidence and determination, combining their efforts effectively to secure victory for Pakistan.
