Asha Enterprises LLC and ITL World have officially inaugurated The Majlis – Experience Oman at Muscat International Airport, introducing a more personal and welcoming approach to airport arrivals in the Sultanate.
Traditionally, airport meet-and-greet services involve welcoming arriving guests at the arrivals gate with name placards before escorting them to their onward transport. The Majlis takes this experience a step further by welcoming guests into a dedicated hospitality space inspired by the traditional Omani majlis, offering them a warm introduction to Oman from the moment they arrive.
The Majlis was officially inaugurated by H.E. Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, in the presence of Rishi Khimji and Dharmesh Khimji of Asha Enterprises; Abdul Razack, Group CEO of Eram Holdings; Rafeeq Mohammad, CEO of ITL World; and Nitin Sapre, Group CEO of Asha Enterprises.
The ceremony also brought together distinguished guests and senior representatives from Oman Airports, Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), Visit Oman, The Diplomatic Club, Al Mouj Muscat and other leading organisations from Oman’s aviation, tourism, hospitality and business communities.
A joint venture between Europcar, part of Asha Enterprises, and ITL World, part of Eram Holdings, The Majlis brings together the complementary strengths of both partners in hospitality, mobility, travel management and tourism.
Located in the Arrivals Hall of Muscat International Airport, The Majlis offers guests a comfortable setting where they can experience traditional Omani hospitality through coffee, dates, halwa and refreshments, while receiving personalised assistance with their onward journey.
Beyond the welcome experience, The Majlis offers meet-and-greet services, premium chauffeur-driven transfers, travel assistance and curated experiences across Oman, including city tours, sightseeing excursions and personalised itineraries. The concept caters to leisure travellers, business visitors, families and corporate delegations.
