Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region and Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia participated in the inaugural session of the North East Bankers’ Conclave 3.0 at Mizoram University in Aizawl.
The event was attended by Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma; Prof. Lalnilawma, Minister of Rural Development, Horticulture and Public Health Engineering, Government of Mizoram; Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER); Khilli Ram Meena, Chief Secretary of Mizoram; and Satinder Kumar Bhalla, Secretary, North Eastern Council (NEC).
The conclave commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking the formal inauguration of the event.
The North East Bankers’ Conclave 3.0 aims to unlock financial opportunities, strengthen banking outreach and accelerate economic growth across Northeast India. The event brings together senior representatives from public and private sector banks to explore opportunities for enhancing financial access and supporting the region’s economic development.
