The Milwaukee Brewers delivered a five-word message Monday night after the Tampa Bay Rays clinched the American League pennant, officially setting the stage for the 2026 World Series.
The Brewers will face the Rays after Tampa Bay took down the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series at Tropicana Field Monday night.
The victory completed a 4-2 series triumph for the Rays, who won three consecutive games after falling behind 2-1.

The announcement came four days after Milwaukee secured its first World Series appearance since 1982.
The Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, completing the four-game sweep last Thursday with a 6-4 victory.
Milwaukee overcame an early four-run deficit in Game 4, with Garrett Mitchell delivering the go-ahead home run in the sixth inning. Jake Bauers earned NLCS MVP honors after recording six RBIs during the series.
Meanwhile, the Rays secured their third World Series appearance, having previously reached the championship round in 2008 and 2020.
The upcoming matchup carries historical significance for both franchises. Neither has won a World Series, guaranteeing that Major League Baseball will crown a first-time champion.
The Brewers finished the regular season with 103 victories, the most in MLB, before advancing through the National League playoffs.
Now, Milwaukee will attempt to finish its season with the franchise’s first championship.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven championship series is scheduled for Friday at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
