TQ Wuling’s new electric commercial van offers up to 400km of CLTC range, 6.5 cubic metres of cargo space, and prices starting from an estimated RM99,800.
TQ WUILING has officially launched the Porta EV in Malaysia, expanding beyond the Bingo EV with a fully electric panel van aimed squarely at commercial users. Two variants are offered, named after their respective 300km and 400km CLTC-rated ranges.
The Porta EV 300km carries an estimated on-the-road price of RM99,800 in Peninsular Malaysia, while the 400km version is priced at RM105,800.
East Malaysian pricing stands at an estimated RM102,800 for the 300km and RM108,800 for the 400km, all based on company commercial registration without insurance.

At 5,010mm long and 1,800mm wide, the Porta EV is a full-size commercial van with a 3,050mm wheelbase. The 400km version measures 1,975mm tall, while the 300 km sits slightly lower at 1,960mm. More importantly for its intended job, the cargo compartment measures 2,830mm long, 1,680mm wide, and 1,365mm high, giving it 6.5 cubic metres of usable cargo space.
Loading is handled through a pair of 777 mm-wide sliding side doors and rear barn doors that can open through 270 degrees. The loading floor sits 595 mm from the ground, while the rear opening is wide enough to accommodate a standard 1,100 mm by 1,100 mm pallet and allows direct forklift access. TQ Wuling quotes a maximum payload of up to 1,105 kg for the 400 km variant, while the body uses 83% ultra-high-strength steel.

Both versions use a rear-mounted 75kW electric motor producing 180Nm, equivalent to around 102PS. According to the accompanying specifications, the 300km model uses a 41.9kWh LFP battery, while the 400km version increases capacity to 56.2kWh.
TQ Wuling calls its battery system MAGIC EV Battery technology, with a modular design that allows individual cells to be serviced or replaced rather than requiring the entire battery pack to be changed. The company claims this can reduce battery repair and maintenance costs by up to 90% over the vehicle’s lifecycle.
DC fast charging from 30 to 80% takes a claimed 30 minutes for the 300 km version and 20 minutes for the 400km model. TQ Wuling also lists AC charging times of 5.15 hours and 6.75 hours respectively, making overnight charging at a business premises or depot the more obvious option for regular fleet use.

Equipment is deliberately straightforward. The cabin gets a 3.5-inch TFT instrument display, four-way manually adjustable seats, electronically adjustable air-conditioning, and an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Bluetooth, MP3, and USB connectivity.
Safety equipment includes two front airbags, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Control, traction control, Hill Start Assist, a low-speed pedestrian warning system, reverse camera, reverse sensors, and an immobiliser.
TQ Wuling is also pitching operating costs as one of the Porta EV’s main advantages. Scheduled servicing is required every six months or 10,000km, whichever comes first, with the company estimating servicing costs at under RM2,000 over five years. It claims this could represent savings of more than 65% compared with conventional diesel vans.

Warranty coverage stands at five years or 120,000km for the vehicle, five years or 200,000km for the drive motor, EV battery, and battery management system, and six years or 300,000km for the battery cells. Aftersales support is handled through 28 Tan Chong Ekspress Auto Servis centres nationwide.
Bookings are now open with a RM500 booking fee. Early buyers will receive a complimentary 7kW wallbox charger worth RM3,500, a three-pin portable charger, and free scheduled maintenance for up to three years or 60,000 km. The Porta EV will also be displayed at selected TQ Wuling showrooms on October 17 and 18 2026.
