A total of 16 hopefuls advanced to the weekly finals in this year's edition of "Idol." Eight contestants competed in four duels after six contestants advanced last Saturday.
Only the winners of the duels advanced directly: Bligh Walter, Armin Bolhassani, Ville Löfgren and Neville Ristenfeldt came out on top during the evening.
This left Moa Erlandsen, Liam Rasmussen, Shanaya Isaksson and Felicia Anderson in limbo. Viewers were then allowed to vote for one of them, and they chose Felicia Anderson.
Then it was time for the "jury's wild card," which saved another contestant from elimination, and the jury chose Shanaya Isaksson - despite her receiving harsh criticism for her first performance of the evening.
She will have to work harder than all the others to deliver in the live broadcasts, said jury member Katia Mosally.
There are now twelve contestants left in the competition.
