KFA, SESU extend winning run in Kakching 2nd Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Oct 24 : Kha Football Academy (KFA), Keirak and South Eastern Sporting Union (SESU), Kakching scored their second straight wins in the ongoing 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2026 organised by DSA Kakching.
Having opened their campaign with a 2-1 win against KFC, KFA crushed Model Youth Club (MYC), Waikhong 4-0 this afternoon for the second win at DSA Kakching playground.
Miracle pulled off a miracle today scoring twice (50’, 52’) in KFA’s comfortable win after his teammate Tomba opened the scoring one minute into the second half.
Sanatomba then rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute.
In the second match of the day and tournament’s 6th, SESU rode on doubles from N Surjakanta and Jim Raikhan to brush aside Ideal Youth Association (IYA), Kakching.
IYA, who won 2-0 over JA in their league opener, drew first blood early in the 4th minute through Md Farish before SESU fought back and drew level in the 38th minute through N Surjakanta.
Jims Raikhan then completed the turnaround in the 40th minute through Jims Raikhan.
SESU enjoyed better possession and chances after the restart as well and were 3-1 up by 76th minute with Jims Raikhan scoring his second goal before Surjakanta too struck two minutes later to make it 4-1.
Th Chinglemba who came off the bench after 78 minutes then fired home the final nail to the IYA coffin 3 minutes into the stoppage time.
