Edmonton has a new Filipino restaurant on the south side of the city, with Elio’s having just entered its soft opening phase this week.
After nearly a year of hard work, Elio’s, a feast of Filipino favourites, has opened in south Edmonton on Oct. 12. This new restaurant is here to serve up some excellent Filipino dishes, but it’s also here to bring people together.
“Filipino food has always been more than just food,” says the team on Instagram. “It’s home, history, family, and gathering around a table filled with good food and even better company.”

As of Oct. 16, the restaurant’s hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, meaning you can check out this new spot any day of the week with family, friends, or even for a quick solo bite.
The menu has been released on Instagram, consisting of eats like Bacolod chicken inasal, pork BBQ, lechon kawali, and many more familiar Filipino flavours. You can get dishes in a combo or a la carte, and there are soup and rice sides in addition to select pop beverages.
If you’re looking to check out one of the newest and freshest restaurants in Edmonton, Elio’s is here to deliver.
