The Atlanta Falcons made a handful of moves one day before their Week 7 matchup versus the San Francisco 49ers. The team activated cornerback A.J. Terrell from the injured reserve list and signed defensive end Drake Jackson off of the practice squad.
Terrell has missed the last four games due to a hamstring injury but was designated to return at the start of NFL Week 7. He should be out there after participating in all three days of practice this week.
The Falcons also placed offensive tackle Michael Jerrell on the injured reserve list and announced two practice squad elevations. Linebacker Brian Asamoah and running back Khalil Herbert will join the 53-man roster for Sunday's game in Atlanta.
Asamoah can help replace linebacker Divine Deablo, who was ruled out against the 49ers. Herbert will step in for an injured Brian Robinson Jr. to back up star running back Bijan Robinson on Sunday.
Additionally, the Falcons have ruled out wide receiver Beaux Collins and offensive tackle Cameron Williams. Both players practiced this week but remain on the injured reserve list.
Last but not least, rookie cornerback Aveion Terrell - who was already listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury -has an illness. Terrell is still considered questionable for Week 7.
