Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply to various areas of Islamabad due to hookup on the major route.
According to SNGPL, gas supply will be suspended from 9:00 PM on 19 October 2026 until 6 AM on 20 October.
The affected areas include Sector G-7 Blue area, Ghouri Town to Faizabad Bypass Road service road east, lahtrar Road (Khanna Pul to Burma Town), Sohan, Gulberg Town, Shakrial, Garden Town, and adjoining areas.
Residents have been advised to make alternative arrangements for their gas needs during the shutdown and to take precautions to avoid inconvenience.
SNGPL has urged consumers in the affected areas to cooperate during the scheduled maintenance period.
