Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Israel’s enemies not to test the country’s military capabilities during a visit to an Air Force base, days before the parliamentary elections scheduled for 27 October.
In a video released by his office, Netanyahu declared: “I say to our enemies: do not test us.”
He stressed that Israel had the capability to strike any enemy at any time, warning that its adversaries would face even harsher blows than those they had suffered so far.
Netanyahu also highlighted the Israeli Air Force’s readiness, determination and ability to respond whenever necessary.
Ahead of next week’s elections, the Israeli prime minister has repeatedly warned of the risk of potential attacks by Israel’s enemies, emphasising the need for continued vigilance.
“We are determined to defend ourselves. Do not test us,” Netanyahu said.
