A coalition in Benue State, known as the Benue Strategic Alliance for Tinubu 2027, has pledged to work with political parties that have adopted President Bola Tinubu as their candidate for the 2027 general elections.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the organisation’s Publicity Secretary and Administrative Officer, Dan-Morgan Ihomun, disclosed that the alliance had appointed Chief Akange Audu as its Director-General.
Ihomun said the appointment followed a meeting held in Abuja.
“Conveners of the Benue Strategic Alliance for Tinubu 2027, following a meeting in Abuja, have approved the appointment of Chief Akange Audu as Director-General of the organisation,” the statement partly read.
Other officers appointed include Joshua Sale as Deputy Director, Msughve Ayua as Secretary, Chief Mrs Joyce Tarka as Head of Women Affairs, and Dan-Morgan Ihomun as Publicity Secretary and Administrative Officer.
“The Benue Strategic Alliance for Tinubu 2027 is committed to mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, as well as for all National and State Assembly candidates who emerge from the Austin Agada-led APC State Executive Committee”.
“To strengthen its organisational structure and grassroots mobilisation across Benue State, the Alliance has adopted the APC State Executive Committee, Local Government Executive Committees and Ward Executive Committees under the leadership of Austin Agada as integral components of its mobilisation framework,” the statement read in part.
The organisation said the alliance was working with all political parties that had adopted President Tinubu as their presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.
