- Galaxy users are reporting an issue with the Good Lock module Dropship
- When attempting to share a file, users are greeted with an error message.
- Samsung has confirmed that it is working on an update that will be released in November.
Before Quick Share started receiving AirDrop support, there was Samsung’s Dropship solution. This Good Lock module allowed Samsung users to send up to 5GB worth of files per day to other devices, including iPhones. While primarily restricted to users in South Korea, users outside of the area have been able to sideload it. Dropship has now run into a bug that’s breaking its functionality.
If you’ve been having trouble with Dropship, you aren’t the only one. Users are reporting that the Good Lock module is failing to send files to Apple’s handsets. One affected user claims that sending photo files is failing on six out of seven iPhones. When attempting to share a file, the user reportedly receives a message that says, “The coordinates you entered are incorrect, or the item has expired.”
