PETALING JAYA: U Mobile will take its ULTRA5G roadshow to Kuantan, Kota Bharu and Kuala Terengganu from today to Nov 7 following its achievement of 90% 5G coverage of populated areas nationwide.
The telecommunications company said the milestone was reached more than nine months ahead of schedule.
The roadshow - Jelajah ULTRA5G: Edisi Pantai Timur - will feature interactive digital experiences, demonstrations of 5G-enabled technology, and artificial intelligence activities, as well as performances by artistes Sharul Kamal and Tomok, it said in a statement.
Visitors will also be able to interact with a 5G-enabled humanoid robot and learn more about U Mobile's products and services.

The company said the event was aimed at giving East Coast communities an opportunity to experience its ULTRA5G network and explore its offerings.
U Mobile also highlighted its free seven-day ULTRA5G eSIM trial, which comes with 10GB of 5G data.
The roadshow will begin in Kuantan today with activities at various locations around the town, including shopping malls, markets and the Kuantan Esplanade. A separate event will be held at TC Uptown in Teluk Cempedak tomorrow.
The programme will move to Bachok, Kelantan, on Oct 30, followed by activities at various locations in Kota Bharu on Oct 31.
In Terengganu, the roadshow will be held at several locations in Kuala Terengganu on Nov 6 before concluding at Teluk Ketapang beach on Nov 7.
U Mobile said its ULTRA5G network had been recognised by Ookla earlier this year as Malaysia's fastest 5G network and best mobile network.
The company described ULTRA5G as having the country's widest 5G coverage of populated areas.
