Based on shares subscribed, 30.6% of institutional investors pledged not to sell their MS Bio shares for at least 15 days after listing. That is the second-highest lockup commitment ratio among companies that have completed KOSDAQ offerings since September, after Melcon at 36.07%.
Founded in 2015, MS Bio develops and manufactures medical products that use human tissue and biomaterials to aid regeneration of skin and bone. It supplies products to medical fields that require tissue regeneration and restoration. Last year it posted revenue of 23.787 billion won and operating profit of 8.558 billion won. Operating profit rose about 42.9% from 5.99 billion won in 2024.
The company plans to use proceeds from the listing to build a new plant in Ochang, North Chungcheong Province, expand production facilities and establish a base for overseas operations. It aims to strengthen its competitiveness in the global regenerative medicine market by expanding overseas footholds in markets including the United States and Vietnam and by pursuing clinical trials and commercialization of new products.
