The Chairman of the Tinubu/Uba Sani Mobilisation Network, Dr. Abdulmumini Mohammed Aminu-Zaria, has declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani in 2027, insisting that both leaders deserve a second term to consolidate their achievements.
Aminu-Zaria, who spoke at a press conference on Sunday. said the mobilisation network was targeting 1.2 million votes in Kaduna State for President Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election
He maintained that his support for the two leaders was based on their performance in office and not merely on political friendship or party loyalty.
“If he has not done very well, honestly speaking, I can only be his friend and go with him. Whatever he says, I will follow him. But I cannot malign my name,” he said.
The mobilisation network chairman argued that Governor Uba Sani had demonstrated commitment to development in Kaduna State, particularly in infrastructure, security, healthcare and governance.
He also credited Tinubu with supporting the governor’s development agenda, saying many of the projects being executed in Kaduna would not have been possible without cooperation between the state and federal governments.
“These things would not have been possible without the support of the President. All the development in Kaduna State cannot be discussed without mentioning Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Aminu-Zaria said.
Aminu-Zaria urged voters to set political sentiments aside and judge the governor by his record, arguing that four years is often insufficient for an administration to complete major development projects.
“My call for the people of Kaduna State is that we should put sentiment aside. If he has done it well, let’s accept that he has done it and give him the opportunity to go for a second term so that he can complete the good job he has started,” he said.
He warned that a change of government could jeopardise ongoing projects, particularly if an incoming administration chose to abandon initiatives started by its predecessor for political reasons.
According to him, continuity in governance is necessary to ensure that public investments deliver their intended benefits.

“No government can start a project and complete it in four years. You need extra time. That is the extra time we are talking about because of what he has done. He needs extra time,” he added.
The chairman also highlighted the federal appointments secured by indigenes of Kaduna State, arguing that the state had benefited from representation under the Tinubu administration.
He cited appointments into ministerial positions and other federal agencies, as well as the emergence of a Kaduna indigene as Speaker of the House of Representatives, as evidence of the state’s political relevance.
On infrastructure, Aminu-Zaria singled out the Abuja-Kaduna road project as a major priority, describing the route as a critical link between the North and the Federal Capital Territory.
“Today, Southern Kaduna and the government of Kaduna State are in sync. Today, the deputy governor is a Christian,” he said.
On the network’s target of 1.2 million votes for the APC in Kaduna State, Aminu-Zaria said the figure was based on the group’s internal assessment rather than an arbitrary political declaration.
