AirConsole is coming to Zeekr, its first partner inside Geely Auto Group, with a demonstration at the Paris Motor Show before a rollout in select models by the end of 2026. The same platform already runs in more than 5 million BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Škoda and Tata vehicles.
AirConsole is going into Zeekr cars. It is the in-car gaming platform’s first partner inside Geely Auto Group, and the companies are showing it at the Paris Motor Show this week.
The platform already runs in more than 5 million vehicles, its maker says, across BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Škoda and Tata. Zeekr is the first Chinese marque on that list.
It got there through Europe first. BMW signed in 2023 and Volkswagen followed in 2024, putting games on the infotainment screens of ID models and Golfs while parked.
The company behind it is described as Swiss, which is half the picture. N-Dream is based in Zurich, but KPIT Technologies, listed in Pune, raised its holding from 26% to nearly 90% a year ago.
So the supplier is Indian-owned, Swiss-run, and now sells to German, Czech, Indian and Chinese carmakers at once. The software layer is consolidating faster than the cars around it.
Zeekr itself is no longer independent either. Geely completed its buyout and took the brand off the New York Stock Exchange last December.
The timing is not accidental. Chinese brands passed 15% of Europe’s EV sales in April, and EU tariffs of 17% to 38% have slowed that only marginally.
Zeekr is selling itself as a European product. It has research centres in Sweden, Germany and the UK, a design studio in Gothenburg, and brought its full European line-up to Paris.
Its parent is going further. Geely has said it will stop building factories and use Volvo’s instead, which puts Chinese-designed cars inside the tariff wall.
The demonstration itself is modest. AirConsole runs in the 7GT’s infotainment system, and visitors use a phone as a controller after scanning a code on screen.
The headline game is PAC-MAN Championship Edition, licensed through Bandai Namco. The cabin lighting reacts to what happens on the display.
Anthony Cliquot, chief executive of N-Dream, said the deal signals where the next wave of in-car entertainment is coming from, naming a generation of carmakers treating infotainment as core rather than an extra.
The rollout follows before the end of the year, in select models, bundled into the Zeekr Connected Premium package rather than sold separately.
