Tickets to see the once in a lifetime Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight can still be had for under £200 with VIP packages starting at under £300
For boxing fans wanting to see the clash of the heavyweight titans that is the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight there are limited options as the excitement builds.
For those who want to experience the big-fight atmosphere rather than watch on Netflix, standard tickets available via official retailer Ticketmaster for the showdown on Friday, December 11, are relatively thin on the ground. They start at around £447.75 here with coach bundles available but these are not the cheapest option on the market for the Principality Stadium, in Cardiff.
And it’s worth remembering that the cheapest official VIP package is less expensive, priced at £299 with Seat Unique and includes a welcome glass of prosecco or a cocktail, freshly prepared food and three drinks tokens per person.
Promoter Frank Warren has backed Fury to stop Joshua, citing the latter’s split-second defensive lapses, according to Boxing News. That said, Joshua’s power is unquestioned, making for a fascinating bout for which people are naturally prepared to pay top dollar.
Of course, there are plenty of much cheaper options. Ticketmaster itself has verified resale tickets available from £369.05 but there are other resellers out there with cheaper options. The likes of Viagogo, StubHub and Vivid Seats have tickets available at much lower prices.
These are not official ticket outlets like Ticketmaster or Seat Unique but allow fans to sell to other fans but official outlets such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation sometimes forbid the transfer of tickets so check terms and conditions.
Nevertheless, Viagogo, StubHub and Vivid Tickets all offer guarantees to users of their sites so fans are protected.
For fight fans who want to see the bout in the comfort of their own homes, it will be screened live on Netflix with no additional pay-per-view charge which is a blessing.
