After a long five years, vocalist Nazmun Munira Nancy and musician Jahid Nirob appeared together in front of the audience.
The song is titled ‘Deewana Dil’. It is an item song from the Chorki original movie ‘Happily Married’ starring Arifin Shuvoo and Keya Payel.
The song was released on Chorki’s YouTube channel last Friday. The song’s melody and music were composed by Jahid Nirob. It was written by Jahid Preetom.
Jahid Nirob posted a post on October 11 inviting people to listen to the song.
Reminiscing about the day, Jahid Nirob said that he first heard the song ‘Prithibir Joto Sukh’ live while sitting on the second floor of Munshiganj Shilpakala Academy, where Nancy was singing with Habib Wahid. She is still thrilled to remember that sweet memory.
In the post, Jahid Nirob wrote, “I first heard song ‘Prithibir Joto Sukh’ live while sitting on the second floor of Munshiganj Shilpakala Academy.
Habib Bhai was playing chords with an EP (electric piano) tone and Nancy Apu was singing. I still get thrilled when I think about it.”
Jahid Nirob also wrote, “In 2021, Nancy Apu and I sang together for the first time in ‘Close Up Kachhe Ashar Golpo’, the song ‘Tomake Chai’.
In the meantime, Nancy Apu has lent her voice to many of my songs. However, we sang together again after five years.
Whenever Nancy Apu speaks, it becomes a song! The song ‘Deewana Dil’, written by Jahid Preetom and composed by me, is made for the movie ‘Happily Married’ directed by Jahid Preetom. I invite you to listen to this sweet song.”
The song has received a lot of response from the audience in two days. The song has already crossed 16,500 views. There has also been praise in the comments section.
