MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Nuclear arsenals are unlikely to feature on the agenda of a trilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, should one take place at the summit in China, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"Nuclear arsenals are not an appropriate topic to bring up," he replied when asked what the agenda for the meeting might be and whether it would be appropriate to discuss nuclear arsenals and energy in general.
"You know that our Chinese friends believe their nuclear capabilities are currently incomparable to those of Russia and the United States, and they believe there is no topic to discuss. This is the Chinese side’s position, which we respect. Therefore, it is unlikely that this issue could be discussed in a trilateral format," the Kremlin spokesman said.
