Jacob Misiorowski has played a major role in the Milwaukee Brewers’ success as they prepare to face the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2026 World Series. With excitement building across Milwaukee, the expected National League Cy Young winner appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday to discuss what it means to pitch in the Fall Classic for the first time in his career.

“I mean, it’s been awesome,” commented the young Brewers star.
“These guys have been nothing but the best… There’s not many words I can put together to talk about our season we’ve been having. It’s been awesome. It’s been a dream come true.”
Jacob Misiorowski and the Brewers in the World Series
Misiorowski is quickly building a reputation as one of baseball’s premier pitchers and figures to be a major attraction during the Fall Classic. His ability to reach 104 mph as a starting pitcher could draw plenty of attention, even from viewers who do not regularly follow baseball.
The 24-year-old has carried much of his regular season form into the playoffs. He led the league with 252 strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA during the regular season. Across two postseason appearances, he has recorded a 3.24 ERA and 11 strikeouts.

A few more dominant outings from Misiorowski could help Milwaukee secure its first championship after the series concludes. His value to the Brewers’ pitching staff is clear, but the Tampa Bay Rays have shown they can create problems for opposing pitchers with their aggressive approach at the plate.
Jacob Misiorowski will take the mound for Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night, with first pitch set for 8 p.m. ET in Milwaukee.
