DURHAM, N.C. — Nate Sheppard is a game time decision for Duke football's rivalry clash against North Carolina.
The star running back was upgraded to a game time ahead of kickoff as the Blue Devils (4-1, 1-1 ACC) host the Tar Heels (3-2, 1-1) on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Wallace Wade Stadium. He was previously listed as questionable on the initial ACC injury reports. Sheppard tweaked his ankle in Duke's loss to Georgia Tech in Week 6 but said afterward he was “good to go.”
Sheppard leads the ACC and is sixth in the FBS with 743 rushing yards on 118 carries and eight touchdowns. He also has caught 17 passes for 161 yards and three scores.
